Due to the fact that each producer`s sizes are slightly different, it is necessary for us to have your exact measurements in order to give you the best fit for your article of clothing. Hence, the risk of having to change the product, postage, etc., is kept to a minimum.

The easiest method is to complete the measurement sheet online while you are placing an order. The information will then be noted together with your individual customer details. It is, of course, also possible to change certain points at a later date in order to keep your file correct. If you prefer to place an order over the telephone, it is advised to complete the measurement sheet and fax it or send it to our address.

How to measure correctly:

Waistband:
Please measure horizontally, tightly around the waist. Ideally measure while wearing a well-fitted, tight pair of trousers. Measure on the waistband (without a belt under the measuring tape). Please do not allow for extra centimetres as leather stretches with wear.

Hip trousers/waistband:
Please measure horizontally, tightly around the hips. Ideally measure while wearing a well-fitted, tight pair of hip trousers, just above the hipbones or on the waistband. Remember, do not allow for extra centimetres as leather stretches with wear.

Hip measurements:
Please measure at the widest point of the hips and of the rear seat, horizontally and keeping the tape measure tightly on the body.

Outer leg lengths:
Please measure at the point of the top part of the waistband the outer leg measurements. Do not bend yourself but allow a second person to measure you. For the traditional Bavarian styled trousers or riding trousers, measure the length to be slightly above the ankle. For leather jeans/trousers allow a slightly longer measurement, allowing the ankle to be covered.

Thigh measurements:
Please measure around the widest part of the thigh (do not stretch the tape measure tightly, just lay it around the leg). A good place to measure is often directly below the groin.

Crutch measurement:
Please measure from the exact point of the groin (the part of your body where the legs meet) to the ground, i.e. usual measurement as in a pair of leather jeans/trousers, so that the ankle is just covered and no longer seen. With a pair of Bavarian styled trousers or riding trousers, measure the length to be slightly above the ankle. Again, when doing this, do not bend but allow a second person to measure you.
